Nicole Said:
what are the career opportunities in home nursing? We Answered:
Here in California people usually train as a CNA (which is a prerequisite) and then study to become a home health aide. It is much easier to take care of one person in their home than 30 people in a skilled nursing facility. Agencies usually want experience, however many people post ads for a caretaker online and hire the person directly.Maxine Said:

I want to get a career in Nursing, either a Children's Home Nurse or a normal nurse, have any suggestions??We Answered:
Well while in high school try to take all the Bio and Chem classes you can. After you graduate try to choose a college that has an accredited nursing program. You have the choice between getting an Associates of Science in Nursing (2 year program) or getting a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (4 year program). Either degree will allow you to sit for nursing boards (the exam needed to practice in a particular state.) When choosing a program ask their counselors or recruiters what their first time board passing rate is. Try to pick a school that has at least 95% first time pass rate. It will usually indicate a quality program. Once you graduate and are board certified than it should be easy to get a job. If you want to be a Children's Home Nurse than try to get a job in Pediatric Intensive Care as soon as you graduate. It will prepare you for the home field which requires a high level of independent thinking. Good Luck!!!Frederick Said:
