Path to career in nursing - advantage to health science to nursing? We Answered:
I work in healthcare and to be honest with you if you want to work on a floor as an RN all those extra degrees wont help to much. What will really matter is experience. Now lets say after you work for a couple years you can certainly use all of those degrees to get a nurse manager postion. It all depends on what you want to do. If you want to work with Pt's on nursing floors an RN will make money regardless. then the more experience the more money. Rns are so in demand that once you get out there you will hav all the opyions in the world. Then again if you want to work out of an office maybe in admin. Those titles will bring you more money.pediatric nursing...?We Answered:

What classes should I take in high school for pursuing a career as a Pediatric Nurse? We Answered:
All high schools are different and some will offer some classes while others won't. Don't stress too much, just make sure you take the most advance courses you can and study hard. Also check to see if dual-enrollment is available where you can take college courses through your public school for free.I recommend taking biology, chemistry, anatomy, and physics. Spanish will be helpful as there are more Spanish speaking communities around. Four units of English. Psychology would be interesting and especially if there is a lifespan course. Nutrition can be useful too as childhood obesity is on the rise, but make sure it isn't some easy A class where all you do is cook. If there is any lifespan courses or child-related courses. Health.

Pediatric intensive care nursing?We Answered:
Hi, emotionally its really very difficult... it is really very difficult to put a drip to a kid.... they cry and cry and its your job to put the drip. you also have to do a lot of procedures such as putting "ryles tube" and so on. Kids they are already in pain due to the disease and medical procedures adds to their pain n suffering. It's really a very difficult job emotionally, however, there are many medical professionals who do not care for the pain n suffering of the kids and do the procedures mechanically. If you can make the difference by taking extra care... by consoling the kids... managing things by getting emotionally attached to the kids then definitely you will be doing a great service to the mankind.
