Alfredo Said:
What are some southern california schools that only require 2 years of high school math?We Answered:
I don't know of any, sorry. Why not do whatever your friend did? I do want to tell you though that math in college is usually harder than it is in high school. Also, how did she graduate from high school in the first place? The ones I know of require at least 3 years of math.

Four Year Colleges Vs. 2-Year/Tech/Community Colleges: Are 4 years schools THAT much better? We Answered:
You're comparing apples and oranges... or whatever that expression is. It all depends on what you major in and what your goal is. If its a high paying career, there's a lot of potential in all three options. I don't know any exact stats, and I dont know if anyone really does, but it depends more on your major than your school.I would be more focused on WHAT you want to do first. GENERALLY, 2 year tech schools will lead to more blue collared type, hands-on jobs. Most wont have high entry level salaries but if you pick an area in demand, there will lots of room for advancement.
4 year schools lead to more of the white collar stuff (ie. engineers, business careers). The sky's the limit here. Theres hundreds of majors with different salaries and advancement oppurtunities
Community colleges are actually a great place to start if you are unsure. They are inexpensive and allow you to take care of general classes (that you would take anyway at a univeristy) before choosing a career/major and moving onto a tech school or univeristy.
I hope this helps.

Is it a terrible idea to transfer colleges after 2 years? We Answered:
It is not much different, some people transfer to beef up their GPA and get themselves into a better school.Financially it is a great idea.

I got suspended from university 2 years ago, do I have to start from Community college? We Answered:
It's up to a new school to accept grades you earned at your old school. Usually a C will transfer, but nothing lower. If you can't get them a transcript from your old school, you'll have to start from scratch.

What are some good paying jobs with 2 years college experience? We Answered:
The nice people at the US Dept. of Labor have made you a list. Some pay VERY well and many pay more than people with a bachelor's degree.Understand, most jobs don't pay anyone with no experience "high pay" - it doesn't matter how many degrees you have.

Remember, 1/3 of the adult population has a bachelor's degree AND work experience. You're not going to walk out of either a 2-year or 4-year degree and take their jobs. Suck it up, get the degree, then pay your dues in the trenches.

Do you have to have 2 years of foreign language in order to attend a 4 year college? We Answered:
it all depends on the college really. high schools like to lie about stuff like this and say its manadatory, when its actually not in some cases.some colleges say you need 2, others say 4, some say you dont need any at all.
