Frank Said:

How can I take summer courses as high school student at Saddleback Community College?

We Answered:

First, I'm assuming you're in California. Here's the college home page:
http://www.saddleback.edu/

Start by selecting the admissions page http://www.saddleback.edu/admissions/
(I believe they will begin accepting applications on April 1 for the summer session)

Here's the page that explains concurrent enrollment for K-12 students
http://www.saddleback.edu/admissions/k-1…
(looks like you need a signature from your principal on a form they provide at this site)

They haven't posted their summer class schedule yet, so keep a look out over the next month or so for that to come out online - or go to the campus bookstore to buy a copy.

Deborah Said:

Lack of HS preparation; how can I prepare myself for college-level Bio/Chem courses?

We Answered:

Just make sure to keep up with the work and study a lot. Try not to procrastinate and make sure to set time aside to look over notes and read the chapter in your textbook. If you need extra help, get a tutor or go to your professor for help.

Olga Said:

Can I take community college classes after high school without being considered a transfer student?

We Answered:

Since they have that rule, which I'm sure they'll stick to rigidly, just look for some non-credit classes that you can take off the record and don't get the status of "transfer student".

Rachel Said:

Which college should I put as priority?

We Answered:

State university
