Edgar Said:Do I have the right to review the results of a teacher evaluation taken by students at a NYS- SUNY college?
We Answered:I'm not exactly sure what you mean...are you as a student being evaluated, or are you evaluating the instructor? I assume the answer is the latter, but I will try to help with both.
If you are evaluating the instructor.
-You probably don't have a right to see what evaluation the instructor received, since there are all kinds of students who submit the evaluations, and you don't have a right to learn what they chose. I don't think it would be a legal issue.
If you are being evaluated.
-You may not have a right to see what the evaluations are, but it would also probably depend on how they were used. If they were somehow used against you, then you would probably have a right to see what they said and how you were evaluated. It doesn't make any sense to me that evaluations of students would be withheld from students anyway, so this is why I didn't think your question was asking this.
Hope I helped at least a little.
Aaron Said:What are some good websites that review colleges by former students?
Larry Said:Is it a myth or reality that homeschool students have a hard time getting into college?
We Answered:I have a friend that has had one son graduate college and the other is in college. Yet another of her sons is currently duel enrolled at a college in this, his 12th grade year. He will actually graduate college with a two year degree!
Colleges are actually happy to have home schooled students and seek them out.
Heather Said:I want a website built by students that reviews colleges Any ideas?
btw could you do me a huuge favor and vote for me here?:
it won't take more than 5 seconds, promise
Manuel Said:What classes are suggested for a high school art student interested in continuing with a portfolio for college?
We Answered:You should definitely look into taking a life drawing or figure drawing class. Most colleges with an art department will offer them. When I was in High school I took life drawing at the local arts center. I had to pay a small fee for the class, but I think it greatly improved my portfolio, and my drawing skills for all types of drawing.
Oil painting is also a very good idea. A lot of high schools don't teach oils because of the fumes, and they take a long time to dry. Most college painting courses use exclusively oils so it is a good idea to demonstrate technique with this medium.
Good luck, I hope this helped.
