College Student Travel Tours
Glenn Said:
College student traveling, what were your experiences? We Answered:
I went on an EF tour in my junior year in high school for spring break. We went with a teacher, and we had a tour guide that met us every morning to go sight seeing and other cool things. (I went to Paris, France). It was one of the best times of my life. I am not exaggerating, you should definitely look into going. EF tours is a good company, they try to make it as affordable as possible. It was definitely worth it. If you go on a college break tour then there should be many different kinds of people going and you should be able to meet new people. We only had the people from two high schools in town and it was like 30 people. You can also meet new people wherever you go. My group met another tour group that came from Spain and we had a lot of fun with them.Dustin Said:
What college major would be helpful for a job such as a travel agent/tour guide? We Answered:
You don't need a degree to be a travel agent or tour guide as neither are academic or need much training (plus being a travel agent on a computer in a call centre is really boring and tour guides are not well paid). However, if you'd like to travel and keep the idea of tour guiding open, I would recommend that you minor in a modern language and consider teaching abroad after you graduate.Daryl Said:
