You have to register, but it's free, and they don't send you any spam e-mail, only one to confirm your address, and that's it.

You can filter universities by cost, location, your field of interest... The search options they give you are endless. It really helped me!

I think there's even scholarship links there.

You will not get a degree after two years in a community college, you would have to graduate from a full university for that. Once you have your degree you can usually get a two year work permit as long as you have a job lined up.

Only a limited number of community colleges in the U.S. offer dorms, and you'll generally have to pay more for the privilege than you would if you tried to find housing on your own. You're probably better off figuring out where you want to study and then looking for schools in that area.
