Education Internships For College Students

Jeff Said:

How much should i look for work and an internship while im in college?

We Answered:

It's not about how many, it's about the quality and the things you bring away from them. Oh, and the connections. Colleges want you to get one at least so you can network, and if you do a good job hopefully you'll be hired there when you graduate. I would say- at least my college says- that everyone should have AT least one before graduating. I don't have an internship, but I have a real job in my field (kind of entry level) to gain experience while I finish.

You can also look on google for information about your field. Or there might be (hopefully) a career services office at your college, as well as an internship coordinator that should be able to help you with going in the right direction. Good luck!

Different internships have different specifications, you should read the marketing or ask about the job provide to whoever is hiring. If the internship says that you have to be a present student in a 4 years system then obviously you are not qualified.

Usually your internship/student educating lasts one smester and is completed during your last smesterm of school. Some colleges/universities mandate that their student teachers spend an entire year student educating.
