Suzanne Said:

Good paying jobs for college students? Also, should I get a credit card?

We Answered:

Hi Alice.

1st Question: Try Careerbuilder.com, Monster.com, and Indeed.com to search for local jobs around you. Try also to update your resume; there is a lot of competition in the labor/resource market right now so you should also work on your resume. Check out one of my articles on resume writing if you need some help:

2nd Question: Yes, definately get a credit card. Everyone needs to establish credit early. This will help you in the long-term when you're older and want a car, house, and so on. Just be smart! Don't spend more on the credit card than you can pay off that same month. Don't let any interest accrue and you'll get a great credit rating; believe me, I learned this the hard way.

Good luck!
