Take advantage of the hope scholarship for 1200 per year freshman and sophomore year. That is guaranteed to every American.

Keep in mind the lifetime learning grant, that will cover 20% of Sophomore and Junior year. . And that is guaranteed to every American.

It depends on how much you get. Some only get a few hundred dollars, which goes towards your tuition and fees. Some people qualify for the full amount (4,731 a year) and this can be used to pay most of your tuition (or all if you are attending a cheap school) and fees, and books, and dorm and meal plan and living expenses if you have them.. Transportation costs...

Basically, if your Pell is more than the bill from your school the school will send you a check for the extra. Not bad, not bad!!

You can't get government grant funding to use for you to give a college a grant.... the government has it's own grant programs for many things including business and education. You will have to come up with the money some other way. You first need to have the college approve your grant and it's qualifications etc. and it needs to be administered by someone. it also must be registered with the government for tax purposes etc. I suggest you start by speaking with someone who handles the disbursement of grants for the college I doubt that you as an individual will be qualified to administer the fund. for non-profit etc banks often handle the funds
