Well im a 2 and a half year college student, and it REALLY depends.
You can get a serious hardworking student like myself, who is the occasional partier but will always be there on time

or you can get the party animal who comes to class hung over and is late for everything!

A lot of places like Barnes and Nobles, Borders, and Starbucks actually prefer people that are currently in college because they want people who are self motivated individuals...

Honestly, if a place doesn't like the idea of school interfering with their need of you -- Apply some place else. Education is the only thing that will get you ahead in life, not being a cashier for $7.50 per hour.

I'll tell you why. It's because they want uneducated drones working for them. They want people who are going to stick around and get paid crap pay and not complain about it.

They don't like you if you're going to college to better yourself. That puts you above most of the people who work there, and they know it and they don't like it.
