Internships For College Students Summer 2010

Ashley Said:

Summer internships for teens?! Interested in marine biology!?

We Answered:

So cool that you're into Marine Biology and Zoology!

I don't know of intern programs but I can tell you there are programs out there that allow teens to get hands on experience in the Marine Biology field! I've been a summer trip leader for a company called Broadreach and Academic Treks and they are a very solid company. They offer lots of different 3 week summer marine biology programs that also get you 3 college credits and community service hours.

I think you might be especially interested in their Dolphin Studies program in Belize. They offer really neat programs like Marine Biology Adventure in the Bahamas and Shark Studies in Fiji. They also offer programs related to Zoology in case you decide to go that route. (Primate Studies, Sea Turtle Studies, etc...) You should definitely check out their website sounds like this might be perfect for you! www.academictreks.com
