Hopefully you have filed your FASFA form (contact financial aid if you need to). You may well qualify for a PELL or similar grant and other financial aid. Talk to your financial aid counselor at the college-that is what they are there for.
The counselor can direct you on available aid/loans and how to go about applying for them. Perhaps other grants also.

financial aid administrators may offer dependent students an unsubsidized Stafford loan (these type of loans are non-need based and the interest starts immediately) without requiring the parents to file a FAFSA, provided that the financial aid administrator verifies that the parents have ended financial support and refuse to file the FAFSA. the unsubsidized Stafford loan is not based on financial need and it’s a loan, but at least it's something to help him pay for school.

Co-signing happens when somebody promises to back up a loan for somebody else. If you apply for a loan and you don’t qualify, you may need a co-signer. This person’s strong credit or higher income may help you qualify for the loan you want.

As a borrower, co-signing is wonderful. You may want to buy a house or a car, but find yourself unable to get the funds you need. If your credit is poor or your debt to income ratios are not strong enough, lenders won’t give you money.

You can't get a student loan for a semester that long ago. Sorry.

The only way to get your transcripts is to pay it off. Eventually you'll get there. Consider moving back in with relatives and selling everything you own so you can pay it off quick and get on with your life. If you have anything of value that you don't owe money on such as a car, boat, rv, motorcycle, anything... SELL it and pay it off quicker. Get a second job, that will help too.
