I feel like mostly Brazilians take the chance to work abroad.... or so I've found. The sweetest people you'll ever meet. haha.
I've never done it with a college, I feel like they're too strict and... scholarly. It's not life like I suppose. I'd look into online. There are SO many sites you can look into to find out more. Many do pay a salary. Even with the volunteer work I did I got a small sum of money for the little things I needed. The salary isn't normally huge, but it's usually a nice pay check to look forward to. :)
I will be honest and say you work a good bit. I worked a little over 40 hours a week but that left for plenty of time to see and do the many wonderful sites of London. Plus you have transportation right at your finger tips in London... unlike the grand old USA. I get newsletters all the time from a site I love called GoAbroad.
