proper study tips and routine for college students? We Answered:
get a huge calendar for your room. Write down everything, all due dates.actually sit down and write down a schedule for the week. If you need to read 5 chapters by Friday, then write down how much you need read each day. Even write down planned free time. Write down your list of stuff to do for the day, cross if off as you get it done.

Designate an area a "study only" area. The desk should be 100% clean and clear of anything other than your study materials.Study at a place that encourages studying, like a library.

Invest in highlighters and post-its! Don't worry about highlighting in your textbook-- that was one thing I had to get over and then it was a huge help. Before midterms/finals, I would type up a study guide including things from lecture and reading notes and read it over and over. Study groups also work for some people so you can discuss questions, but I found them distracting. If you don't get something, talk to the professor- chances are they'll give you information that is super straight forward. And I don't suggest skipping class- I did it my first two quarters freshman year and it was stupid because after I stopped skipping classes (minus real reasons) I did a lot better.
