What computer should a college student buy?

We Answered:

I like HP myself, also, you will probably want something with a pretty long battery life in case you are somewhere without power and need to do a lot of work, here is a good one:

What is the best laptop to buy for a college student if price is not an option(the most capabilities and speed

We Answered:

I recommend you get the middle of the road now and bank the money for 1 1/2 years and get another updated one that will be about twice as fast for the same money. Spend about 800 now and 800 later. Rather than 1600 now. That will help you learn what real education is all about ... spending your hard earned money wisely.

lap top recomendations for college students?

We Answered:

Your biggest concern is going to be buying a laptop with a power adapter that supports both 110/220 electricity. This is important because most of the world uses 220, while the US, some places in Europe, etc, use 110. I would suggest a lenovo or a toshiba satellite. Just make sure you get one that supports international electrical standards. Even then you'll have to purchase adapters, but they're cheap.
