Travel For College Students

Aaron Said:

Where is a good travel destination for two college students?

We Answered:

I once did a vacation in South Dakota and had a lot of fun. Went to Corn Palace in Mitchell, Badlands National Park, Mt. Rushmore, Wall Drug, and Rapid City. It was a hoot and pretty reasonable.

What are cheap travel options for college students?

We Answered:

u could sign up with some ngo in your area or international ones. check oxfam, red cross, medicins sans frontiere. if your field of study is medicine then u can ask for attachment for practical experience in various hospitals abroad. u could arrange thru your school or write direct to the place u wanna be in

John Said:

Are there any kinds of honor bands for college students that travel around and perform during the summer?

We Answered:

None that I know of. If you want to perform in the summer, join a drum and bugle corps. It costs less, and it's a longer season.

Copenhagen: How much do students travel by bicycle?

We Answered:

While I can't really answer directly on college students, most people here ride a bike. But I really wouldn't let that bother you. I've lived here 4 years and just now finally purchased a bike. Basically when I would go out I would either walk or take the train/bus/metro.

I've had situations where I've met people at one place to eat, they rode their bikes while I walked, and then we all walked to a different destination...they just walked with their bikes since I didn't have one. It really wasn't a big deal to them. I would say as long as you can walk then you shouldn't have any problems...it's just going to take you a bit longer to get to your destination is all. Hope you come to Copenhagen and enjoy yourself!

What are the best places for college students to travel during spring break?

We Answered:

Puerto Rico is great for spring break! Puerto ricans love to party & the night life in San Juan is great! Plus there are always festivals .& its not a big drunken mess of college kids getting naked. It is beautiful weather filled with culture, nightlife & good food! Gorgeous eaches & tons of water sports. There are also great sights to see, like 'El Yunque' rainforest, Camuy Caves & el Morro. Plus its US, so no passport & US currency. & the drinking age is 18. You can also get bacardi cheap! Goodlk!

Is there any other travel agency for college students like EF College Break or Contiki? Which one is best?

We Answered:

>>>EF CM Code - "Sever4377"<<<
I recently got back from a EF College Break Trip and I will tell you the sole reason I chose them over Contiki is because EF includes airfare. It is nice to have that included especially with the high oil prices now shooting airfare through the roof. Since EF is the biggest student travel company in the states they get great deals with airlines. The EFCB trips include airfare, hotels, breakfast each morning, tour guide throughout the trip, admission to museums/attractions, and transportation between destinations. If you have any specific questions about the company and/or trips we offer feel free to contact me at TravelEFCB@gmail.com. 22 was the average age on the EF tour of Greece/Italy and after talking to others it is the average among all the tours. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and even came out on the town with us at night to show us a great time. Their was not one complaint from anyone on my tour as we all had a blast and experienced so much.

How long of a tour were you looking to take? Here our a few options for you:
1. http://www.efcollegebreak.com/browsetrips/Touroverview.aspx?touryear=2009&tourcode=ITSB
2. http://www.efcollegebreak.com/browsetrips/Touroverview.aspx?touryear=2009&tourcode=GTDB

We have other trips as well that you should check out and here is the link:
http://www.efcollegebreak.com/browsetrips/tripsearchresults.aspx?touryear=2009&tours=all

I hope all this info helps you and like i said don't be afraid to contact me and ask me questions. I have posted my CM code (Sever4377) at the top of this post. You will get a $50 discount off your trip which is great to have for some nightlife drinks abroad! Contiki and EF are going to be the best two options for you but like I said even before I worked with EF I choose them because they include everything...after that you just need spending money. By all means though look around and find a trip and company you are comfortable with.
