Are there any cheap travel trips abroad for college students?

We Answered:

i am korean and i would like to give you some tips about travel.
you 'd better choose a backpacking ..it is so cheap and you will get a lot of things which i can't describe .
i actually went around the three countries in europe france , italy, and swiss and i picked up a backpacking pakage in an website.
it tood 10 days for me to go around and spend about 2000000WON(i am so sorry , i don't know how to exchage it as $)
it was cheaper than i had expected but you are not supposed to expect a great foods or places. because backpacking is backpacking . i mean you have to be satisfied with seeing a bunch of extotic things like building which lasts over 2000 years .

What are some affordable weekend trips for college students?

We Answered:

Take a road trip down south and spend a week in Big Bend National Park in Texas.. there's amazing camping opportunities, awesome trails to hike and beautiful sunsets!

Most colleges have an outdoor or recreation center you can rent tents, backpacks, sleeping bags and sleeping pads if you don't have any of the gear... There is a $10 backcountry fee for the park..

I did this trip when in college at Nebraska and it was AWESOME!

Advice on a summer trip for college students?

We Answered:

Europe is a lot safer although much more expensive than South or Central America. Thailand is cheap and fun but expensive to get to, so`s Bali.

Some countries allow you to work for a limited amount of time. That would stretch your finances. I`ve met Australians working in bars and pubs in the UK but I don`t know the rules. Ask at embassies or use Google.

what are some fun weekend trips/activities for college students?

We Answered:

Wow, you are in luck because I used to live up there when I was college-aged. You can go to Niagra Falls (canadian side), Toronto, ON Canada(or montreal, ottawa, kingston), Lake George, Turningstone Casino(lots on the many Indian reservations up there), NYC (share all expenses - use internet for discounts).
