ok wellll my first year of college was a bust. and i know that feeling.. just being tired of your everyday surroundings. the u.s. has some history its just hard to find sometimes.. going to europe where you can walk on streets that were made centuries ago, is pretty cool. I am planning a trip and since last semester ending ive been working all summer and saving. There is no real 'free-be' for this type of thing. i looked into taking out a personal loan from a bank but thats stupid because you can only borrow depending on how much you make, so if you are broke - you just need to find a job quick and save every check. When you go, stay in hostels (despite the horror movie) eat one meal a day.. don't go during the summer because thats the tourist season. Unfortunately this "energy crisis" seems to be making flying prices go up.. so those could get worse unless we elect someone with brains this year. Its really expensive but there are tricks and smart ways around the expenses. You need to do some research and reading. There are 'specials' if you go into a travel agency.. they have european tours planned out for a 'all in one' price. But you don't make the plans, they do.. and you go in groups.. its suppose to be a good price.. but i'd rather go alone and do whatever I want. I duno I hope to go this winter.. So yeah don't fret. If you want it badly enough you'll get jobs with your buddys and make it happen.
