Crystal Said:

What are some great volunteer work that college students can participate in?

We Answered:

I like Habitat for Humanity at your time of life. First, it provides good training on basic maintenance/building skills you will need. Second it is an opportunity to connect to a very large number of volunteer oriented people.
These people, from a broad background, may be of aid in your getting a regular job now or after school. After all, you are willing to work and not just for yourself. That says something to a prospective employer.
Of course your job is to learn and build, not interview, but you should take names and notes.
If not Habitat, go to your city's community center, or even talk to the reference librarian about it. After they tell you all they know, ask who else you might ask.
Good luck!
