how to find scholarship money to attend McGill....?

We Answered:

Take a chance and apply for the scholorships either way. i'm sure you'll get in at mcgill. my friend did and her grades were basic. but honestly compared to other universities, it aint so bad. you can always take up a side job. part time. ill be doing it. and alot of my friend that are at mcgill do it. just organize your time. montreal is a very billingual city. you'll fit right.

I lost my mother.. it hurts me a lot & i have so much school homeworks to do outside of my country :( help me?

We Answered:

I'm sorry for the loss of your mother. Explain to your school administrator how badly you're feeling, maybe you can be excused from classes for a while without losing your scholarship. Your english sounds good to me, don't give up trying to find a friend. I'm not Canadian, but I hope I've helped. Take care.

We Answered:

You'll be considered to be an international student because you aren't a permanent resident. You won't qualify for any federal/state financial aid.

Getting Into Harvard?

We Answered:

There is good news and bad news.

The bad news is that it is probably too late for you to get into Harvard as an undergraduate. If you improve, you can probably get into a good school -- but Harvard won't be accepting someone who has average grades for his first two years of high school.

The good news is that Harvard Law is a graduate program and doesn't look at your high school grades. You need to go to the best university that you can get into for your undergraduate degree. You then need to get a very high GPA and score high marks on the LSAT exam.

Good luck.

PS -- Yale has a better law program.

how to obtain enough scholarship money to attend McGill, eep..?

We Answered:

It looks like you may be out of luck for scholarships offered by McGill. However there are hundreds of other scholarships out there. I have found these two sites to be helpful in looking for scholarships.
http://www.studentawards.com/
http://www.scholarshipscanada.com/

And you should also talk to your school counselor to find local scholarships and maybe even find a loophole for you be able to get those McGill scholarships.

Good luck!
