Leonard Said:

I want some ideas regarding exhibition models in chemistry for high school students?

We Answered:

"Tinker Toys" by Hasbro...see link: http://www.hasbro.com/tinkertoy/

Caroline Said:

What are some good and bad chemistry sites for high school students?

We Answered:

a good chemistry web site is chemicool.com. I'm in AP chemistry and this is what my teacher suggests. Reason why: It's a reliable website, unlike wikipedia, and is monitored and updated by chemists for the use in schools. wikipedia can be changed by anyone and is not always correct no teacher ever suggests this web site. a good picture can be found just by image googling chemistry.

Brian Said:

I'm looking for a good introductory chemistry text for high school, many ESL students. Any ideas?

We Answered:

Textbook Publishers are not making ESL modified Chemistry books. ESL students only reach Chemistry with basic skills met. I teach in Las Vegas with a high ESL population. Our students have to pass Biology and Algebra I to take Chemistry. To tell you the truth Chemistry is so abstract that all students would benefit from ESL strategies.

Leo Said:

What colleges in NJ offer AP Chemistry for High School Students?

We Answered:

Most colleges will offer an introductory chemistry course.

They don't call it AP chemistry in college. An AP Chemistry course in high school is roughly equivalent to an introductory chemistry course in college.

Call your local state school campus or community college.

what degrees will i need to take in order to become a biology or chemistry teacher for high school students?

We Answered:

You would do fine by entering the teacher preparation program for high school, in which you'd have to pick a subject specialization and you would do science.

or

Get a bachelors in science and a masters in education.

Look at teacher preparation colleges in your area.
