Explorica is mostly for teacher led trips, so I wouldn't recommend it. However Global Routes is certainly an option. Their primary focus is community service and they do go to Latin America amongst one of the places, so yes I would definitely recommend them. You may also want to check out Rustic Pathways. They also have community service trips that go specifically to Costa Rica, and it is pretty affordable. I would hurry up though, summer programs tend to fill up quickly around this time.
