Diana Said:
What are some good books that you suggest to a High School Book Club?We Answered:
Dangerous Days: The Autobiography of a Photojournalist, and its sequel, Blades: The Autobiography of a Rescue-Helicopter Pilot, both by J. William Turner. Very realistic fiction about teens in several tense, dramatic, life and death situations set in Australia, Canada, England and California. The plot of each novel is written as a collection of four related shorter books (about 100 pages per book) inside a single cover dealing with teenage, adult and social themes. What kind of books do high school guys read?We Answered:
Amethyst is partly right, high school guys do like fast paced action and we would prefer less romance if you please. She is very wrong about James P. (U.). I am a high school who enjoys reading and I think most guys would be most interested in:Stephen King: action, fast paced, goar, insane plots, sex (sorry it's the way we think), I don't read much of him but he would probably be the number 1 guy because he's got everything.
Harry Potter: I see these books hidden from other students so you don't get labeled a nerd.
Michael Crichton & Peter Benchley: You can go beyond Jurassic Park because these guys are good.
Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child: Ok, so I am a little biased as they are my favorite authors, but they are for good reason. Their best's are the Diogenese trilogy, CoC, and Relic.
There is also a list of books here if none of these are what you are looking for:
