High school is full of nervous children who don't have a very clear idea of what they're doing at any specific time.
There are bullies who will try to get stuff from you, but most of them only fight when they have gangs backing them up. If you fight an American High School bully, he'll probably mess with somebody who is a lot less trouble.
Girls don't care about where you're from as long as you're confident and athletic and can make good conversation.
If you can't speak the language or do something then there's no help. American high schools are pretty independent and the children are utterly unreliable and selfish, so just make sure you are as bad-*** as possible. If you don't make an entrance, nobody will ever know you ever came.
