High School students are selected based on their participation and performance on the PSAT.

I'm not fully sure how selective the program is, but it's easier than actually getting accepted at Stanford for your undergraduate career.

The EPGY Summer Institutes are three-week and four-week residential programs for academically talented and motivated high-school students. The Summer Institutes provide an opportunity for these students to enrich and accelerate their academic pursuits and to meet others who share their interests and abilities.

Summer Institutes participants live in supervised Stanford housing and are taught by Stanford instructors. Students engage in intensive study in a single course, and they are introduced to topics not typically presented at the high-school level. The Summer Institutes provide a taste of college life in the beautiful surroundings of the Stanford campus.

Summer Institutes subject areas include arts and humanities, business, computer science, engineering, legal studies, mathematics, social science, physical and biological science and writing. The instructors are assisted by undergraduate and graduate student mentors who have expertise in the course subject areas. These mentors serve a dual role of Residential Counselor and Teaching Assistant so that the academic and social aspects of the program are tightly integrated.

Although EPGY has offered Summer Institutes sessions in international locations such as Beijing, Istanbul, London and Singapore, no International Programs will be offered in 2010.

Where on earth have you heard that from?! I wouldn't say that England has a major problem with anti-semitism at all; if anything, I'd say we're a lot more accepting of different religions and races than the US is. I went to university in Oxford and none of my Jewish friends had any problems at all with anti-semitism or with finding Kosher foods. You'll be absolutely fine!

an average summer depends on the person or situation on how the relationship will go..but mostly during the summer time relationships don't really last long thats what I am thinking because so many people want to hook up with everyone but don't want to cheat on their girl or boyfriend and etc...so both of them take a "break" during the summer...but sometimes they will go out again or not so not sure...but mostly they won't get back together and will date someone else new
