If you are taking college classes during regular school hours, or plan to take them, they will be counted by the school as high school credit, however they won't let you graduate early. You first have to complete the minimum set of credits required by the state to graduate.

Oh, you'll love public school- I'm actually in the complete opposite sitch than you- I'm going into private from public lol. But being shy won't help! People are VERY social in public school, so really if you have a hard time talking to people for the first time, paying them a genuine compliment always works. Also asking open-ended questions ("Who do you know here? ....That assignment was hard! What did you think about it?".....etc.)

Try to be as nonchalant as possible about everything- i've learned that nobody really likes a showoff in public. so if you're say really smart (the only exception to this is if you're in AP or IB) you can act like a smartie. but in on level and honors, study, make good grades, but don't have your hand glued to the ceiling because you participate in class so much.

Just try talking to as many people as possible- and even be daring and on the first day ask a random group of people if you can sit with them. If they say yes, sit and listen to their conversation and ask them questions about what they're talking about, and if you know what they're talking about, feel free to throw in you're own opinion.

Most high schools in america are grades 9-12. Usually you will be given an ID card on the first day along with a list of your classes. Just follow your schedule and you will be fine. The first day or two is usually just an intro to the class and getting to know the teacher. Don't worry to much about it you will be fine.

Well, depends on what country you are coming from. Are you teaching private or public? If you are teaching public, I would be scared because students here in america will shoot and beat up their teachers for no reason whatsoever. Other than that you will be fine.
