Internships For High School Students In Maryland

Phyllis Said:

Which UC's will I have a chance at getting admitted?

We Answered:

I would like to see your raise your SAT scores a bit. Try the ACT plus Writing Assessment and see if you do better. If your UC GPA is weighted, you may want to consider cramming couple of community college courses in this summer (a-g subject area that are UC-transferable) to help raise your GPA a bit. Your extracurricular activities are excellent. Start thinking about how you want to structure your personal statement (see the UC guidelines here: https://uccp.collegepath.org/index.cfm?f… ). You should have a pretty good shot at all the UC campuses.

Could I get into these universities?

We Answered:

I can only speak for Penn State, but I think you'd have a pretty good shot at getting in here.

If not main campus, you could always get in at one of the branch campuses and then transfer in to UP.
