You can intern at a lot of places, but most don't accept you unless you are going to be a senior, or are graduating this year. intern at CNN/other news networks, intern for newspapers, intern at a magazine, you can write for teen national geographic, photojournalist for teen magazines, you can write articles for newspapers but a lot of times they won't choose you.

Talk to a school counselour or an instructor if you are interested. They might have connections.
I want to be in the same career, so I have learned a lot. :-)
