What do Junior high school students study?

We Answered:

At most jr. highs, 8th grade takes US history and everyone has to take and pass the US Constitution test. So they would be studying the beginnings of America, basic US government. How we vote, the offices in government.

Juanita Said:

Why sometimes do junior high school students refused to talk with their parents?

We Answered:

I can attest to this, seeing as I'm sort of in this stage.
I'm not quite sure if I'm like your brother, but there's really this feeling of rebellion. It's just that at times, I feel that my parents can't understand me at all. They just blabber on about what I do wrong, and I feel that they're not looking at my good sides. Most of the time, I feel that my friends can relate to my problems more, seeing as they're of my age. Something like having this weird and uneasy feeling towards your parents, this feeling of doubt. Maybe he just doesn't find your parents close to his heart, and he finds his friends more fun to be with.
Just a friendly advice, don't ask his parents to do the usual thing that they do. The "talk to change him" thing. See, it makes me more "rebellious" when my parents do this long cheesy talks, and I really don't appreciate it that much. As I said, I'm not sure if your brother stands in the same position as mine, so I'm not too certain. You, as his brother, can probably approach him more openly. I actually find it easier to talk to my sister, so maybe he'll find you easier to open up to.

This is quite true to most teenagers, it's part of growing up. The best way to cope with this is to just leave them be, or talk to them casually. Lecturing them will worsen things up. They'll learn to appreciate the companionship of their families once they reach college or work.
