Law school IS very challenging because you have a lot of material that you have to learn and understand to do well on your exams. You need strong skills in reading comprehension, analysis, writing and time management because you can't afford to fall behind in your classes. Yes, you'll need to work on weekends and, no, you probably won't have time for hobbies. Your political science major should prepare you well for law school, assuming that it has required a lot of writing. But law school is expensive and grueling, so make sure you're ready for that challenge if you apply.

The best thing to do is to find out what law firms exist in the area that you live in. Try flipping through the yellow pages to find some. Once you find that out, go visit them and ask if they have any internships available. Make sure you bring an up-to-date resume so that the firm can view your credentials. I did this myself and I am now an intern. :)

Wear the suit. If you're over dressed, you can always take the jacket off, but if you don't have it and need it, you might make a bad impression
