What country are you from?You must know that high schoolers from different countries are interested in different topics.Anyway,I believe (almost) every teen likes to read about the following: relationships,sport(less or more),music,maybe a professor of theirs,iPod or cell phones...
I guess you could make a little satire of the article.Personally I enjoy reading a text that points at something bad about society and makes fun of it using sweet irony...But a really well written,catchy article would make the job done too.Good luck with it.
And,if I may ask,...could I get a link to the article when you finish it,please?I'd love to read it,it'll show if I was able to help at least a little.:)
