It might be a good idea to make an appoint with the math or science department chair and ask his/her advise. He/she may have a suggestion or tell you about programs the university has to offer. If nothing else, it gets your face and name out there for when you apply for entrance.

I take psychology classes at my school because i want to be the exact same thing the classes are very challenging and interesting i dont know if your school has them though in ours you have to be a junior or a senior to take the class.

UC Davis has a summer program called the Young Scholars Program, it's a 6 week summer research program. Costs around 4500 dollars... check it out at ysp.ucdavis.edu

However, if you're really serious on something, i would recommend you try to contact some professors and see if they can help you with getting a research project set up or allow you to use their lab. I know a lot of people who have gotten their research projects done through some mentorship from a professor.
