I think you should include basic grammar if u can and some vocab. You should use things that would relate to the high school students to make them remember it. Make sure to make the video apply to every1 and not just one particular group of people. For example make a video of things that occur at the school like any special events or sports games. Then on the computer you can edit the video to pause and point out certain objects and give the vocabulary word in spanish. You can also put the basic grammar rules to a song. If it has a catchy tune students are most likely to remember it. Hope this helps

There are ways to get your students interested in the work AND making your grading easier. Have food days and just give credit to those who contribute, make traditional Spanish things, such as El Dia De Los Muertos altars and pinatas. If you make the class fun, then they will be more inclined to do their work if it's not all. " Ok class, do pages 1-3 tonight, there's a test tomorrow, etc."
