well i make notes as i read a chapter and then for revision i just briefly go through the notes that i made, in preparation for the exam. Notes that u made have to have brief and concise to enable you to quickly refresh ur memory a day or two before the exam...worked for me i got into law and commerceAllen Said:

i actually used a planner !
well, until i lost it. :S
but it seriously helps you,
because i have major problems
with short-term memory,
and can never remember my homework.
writing it down is great so you
get reminded what is coming up and whatever.
your school probably gives them to you for like, two bucks.
my sister, who's going to grade 11,
told me to never fall behind.
it's hard to catch up, and try not to take
too many sick days.

Chemistry is not a tough subject.Instead of memorizing ,try to understand the basic conceptsThen apply this while solving questions
Practice a lot of questions
Some concepts may be difficult to understand at first,read some good textbooks again and again or ask some subject experts who are willing to help you.Once you get the hold of it,it is really interesting

College Study tips w/anxiety?We Answered:
1) Get plenty of rest, sleep, exercise, good diet, religion/meditation/nature, plus friendship/love time.2) When you study, do it wholeheartedly, no distractions.
3) Don't use caffeine or drugs to help you stay awake.
4) Keep good track of assignments; be organized. Have the proper equipment for your classes. Keep a planner.
5) Focus on what you do well. Leave out the "stupid mistakes" comments from your thinking and your talking!
6) Notice errors made & resolve to get them right next time. Keep reminding yourself of the CORRECT answers.
7) Pay attention to details in math & science.
8) Make sure you answer the question that the teacher asked--don't wander off from it.
9) Ask questions if you don't understand something!!
10) Get tutoring if you need it!!
11) Start study group if that will help you with harder subjects. Offer to bring non-caffeine refreshments.
12) Make Poli Sci relevant to you, by writing about topics that really interest YOU.
