Help choosing freshman classes for high school? We Answered:
Firstly, I'm going to high school in a couple of months too! Anyway, to me it seems like you really are focused on your education. So...... i think if education is what you are after then listening your friends all the time really isn't going to help!! I take IB and as long as you work for it, it's a breeze! Either AP or IB is good for you! Both supply great opportunity.Secondly, for your language, in college you must have at least two years of any foreign language and your choice of language should be which ever one is best for you and what you're most interested in.
Thirdly, talk to your math teacher about what is best for you. If you think that you can take that challenge, then I say go for it!
Also, the Step Up to High School program is really good! My cousin did it and it really helped her. The course that you take take should depend on what class you need most help in or one that you could see your self working in someday! Biology is a good course because it deals with everything really. There is math, reading (English) and lots of other that that one course has to offer.
I wish you good luck with High School and picking your classes! And check out this site provides a lot of info: cfnc.org
