Volunteering High School Students

Marilyn Said:

how does volunteering benefit high school students?

We Answered:

Volunteering (for any age student) gives them community involvement/service, helping others that are economically disadvantaged, instilling kindness & selflessness. Builds character. Universities and colleges look for students being involved in the communities in which they live and community pride. Build relationships with people of other backgrounds (diveristy), making students aware of ethnic diversity within the community that they live, instill in the students humbleness, develop communication skills, develop their talents and expand their interests as well as community awareness. Allow students to learn about various community organizations that assist individuals within the community (clothes closet, feed the hungry, meals on wheels, shelters, and many others). Blessings
