Australian Scholarships For International Students

Everett Said:

finance for an Australian studying aviation in Canada?

We Answered:

no

Esther Said:

Penn state information needed?

We Answered:

-im pretty sure it has an exchange program (dont most colleges?)
but its not real big on giving out scholarships since so many people want to go there, however u can get them from some other scholarship programs for being an exchange student.
-u need to take the SATs or ACTs and do farely well on them (you can look it up on their website for how high u need to score)
-i think penn state is unique in that it is honestly a real college town, its the only town ive visited that revolved completely around its college. but there are some other colleges that have a good student town.
-the business part of the college is very good, which makes it hard to get into. u can register as undeclared and transfer to the business part in ur soph or junior year.
-student life is awesome. especially at penn state. the town turns into the most populated part of penn state during a football game, and we have the best student section in america. penn state is also always voted in the top five party schools, but theres so many other things to do if u dont like partying.

-and for the punter thing joepa usually plays upperclassmen first, so u can try and join the team now and then wait for ur "glory years"

Harold Said:

apply for attending university in sydney. i def need an help!?

We Answered:

Australian universities in general do not give out scholarships - that is because the Australian government assists Australian students in attending by giving them a living allowance and deferring their fees until they are working (if they never work they never have to pay the fees back). We also dont have the kind of "donate money back to the university" culture that you do in Europe and the US - so there is no money for stuff like scholarships. a few scholarships are available for PhD students - but again you have to be Australian for these.

Its best to start in First semester as many second semester subjects have pre-requs that are only taught in 2nd semester.

Does anyone know of a US bank that will grant me a student loan to study at the Australian Maritime College?

scholarships.onlinewebshop.net - it provides some tips about applying to US federal and state grants for college students.

Does anyone know how to apply for as an international student to study at Harvard (Medicine)/ John Hopkins?

We Answered:

You're not going to be able to apply to a top medical school before you earn your B.A. (which can be in whatever subject you want, as long as you fulfill the premed requirements). If you're interested in going to one of the schools you've listed for undergraduate studies, you'd be evaluated on the same criteria as other undergraduate students: GPA, SATs and any other relevant test scores, extracurriculars, essays, and possibly interview. You can find out more information about what a specific school is looking for by visiting its website. However, you don't have to go to one of these schools to get into its medical program: you'll just need to maintain very good undergraduate grades and do well on your MCATs wherever you go.
