As far as my knowledge you will be able to use your credit cards but i am not sure about will you be approved for a loan or not because it will depend on the person/company who provide the loan. if you want to use your credit cards in Australia then you need to verify with your Credit card company that is there any extra charge for that or not? also i think you need to let them know that you will use these cards in Australia. i don't think companies in Australia check or validate US credits. the best way to inquiry in Australian Bank.
