You do realize that with tens of thousands on finance people out of work AND having caused the credit crunch, it will be many years before there are any openings for new people in this field. Specially in the USA.

People think they are all Bernie Madoff clones.

Also, to study in the USA you have to prove access to at least $20,000 every year.

To send my Canadian daughter to a US school for her undergrad degree cost about $90,000 by the time we were done and that is after the school gave her $27,000 in aid.

If your family can manage that, great.

Tuition and fees for year 2006-2007 in UCD was $16,934. Most majors are the same price. I am sure that this is the price of economics.

You may want to look into the BS/MBA option ad drexel. Take the core requirements at the community college of philadelphia. Normally people apply to transfer during their 2nd year of community college. Drexel had a co-op program. This means that part of the semester you attend classes only and the other half of the semester you work and gain valuable work experience which is very good.

Meet with an admissions counselor at drexel and see which of your current credits at the community college of philadelphia will transfer to drexel credits.

Normally the minimum gpa required to transfer is a 3.0, however you should get your gpa to be as high as possible.

Salary depends on work experience and your degree. With an MBA (masters in business administration) your hiring salary is higher.
