Choose a few schools that you might be interested in and e-mail the financial aid department. They will be able to tell you about scholarships, grants, and loans that you might qualify for. There might also be scholarships specifically for foreign students.

Since many students rely on financial aid to attend college, it will take some effort and persistence to get the answers that you will need.

If you are interested in journalism, I would also e-mail the intern department of some of the world news organizations. They provide training for students, so I am confident that they would have some ideas, too.
