Study In Sweden For International Students
Erik Said:
I have a 2 year old daughter, how easy is it to live with her in Sweden as I study.?We Answered:
Don't worry, Sweden is one of the best countries in Europe when it comes social care for single mothers or mothers who work or study. Government has the social programs that include cheap day care or even day care for free. All you need to do is to go and visit Social centers and advice with the social workers in the place where you are going to stay.Diane Said:
Financial aid for studying in Sweden? We Answered:
Don't think so. Contact the Swedish consulate or embassy/mission and ask them.Stella Said:
Is it possible to get part time jobs in Sweden to finance my stay while studying? We Answered:
I have to agree with Amber Marie that the fundamental answer is no.As a full-time University student, you do not need a work permit to work, according to the Swedish Migration board. However:
If you are on any type of grant or student loan, their conditions may rule out working. Also, your studies will be demanding enough and you'll need all your available energy to keep up with your studies. Working 10 hours/week or less might be feasible, but that won't finance your stay, it will only give you some extra pocket money.
In addition, Karlskrona is a small place and there aren't that many jobs available. Kitchen work, office cleaning or newspaper deliveries are typically the types of jobs that don't require you to be fluent in Swedish, but you will need to learn some basic Swedish to apply even for those kinds of jobs.
To cut a long story short, you can't count on working to finance your studies/living expenses, but you might eventually be able to get some extra pocket money.

I heard that studying in Sweden is free of cost for international students, is this true?We Answered:
Yes this is true that studying in sweden is free but consider one thing that only study is free and you have to bear the expenses of your accomodation, food, study material, telecommunication, clothing, travelling etc. These things are too much costly here in Sweden.Ashiq Hussain Vaxjo University Sweden 0046707158275
