Universities In America For International Students

Rita Said:

What do universities look for in international students?

We Answered:

Along with your application (some questions about yourself and a personal essay), you'll need to have standardized test scores (either the SAT or the ACT), an academic transcript or list of degrees completed, and recommendation letters from a couple of your high school teachers.

International students will also need a student visa when they get accepted. Besides that, the qualifications are just to prove yourself academically and extracurricuarly in your application!

Leslie Said:

cheapest college or universities in america for international student?

We Answered:

the only cheapest ones I can think of for International Students, would be Community Colleges, which are a 2-year colleges then usually students transfer to a 4-year college which is always more expensive than a Community College.

Community College a year would be around: 10,000-13,000 dollars.

4-year ( Univerisites): 18,000-24,000 dollars.

Good Luck.

I want to know the cheapest universities in Austalia and America for an international student,?

We Answered:

I can't really speak to Australia since I've never been there, but as a university student in the United States, the cost depends greatly on what you want to do. There are private schools, state schools, and community/technical colleges in the United States. To be a French teacher you probably have to at least go to a state school. From there, it really depends on how prestigious of a program you want and where you're comfortable living. If you go to school in Idaho, you can get a decent degree, and it'll be a damn cheap education but you'll be in Idaho. Also, prices are different for "out of state" students, usually going up $6,000-10,000 from the in state price, and most of the students you'll study with will be from that state. In general, school can cost you between $16,000-23,000 (tuition + room and board), but as an out of state student, you're probably much better off going to Canada or Australia to study, since school can be pretty expensive in the United States.

To fully get a good idea, you should check the "Princeton review" website. You might be able to find some schools for as little as $10,000 (room + board + tuition).
