I am happy to see that you are aiming for a Cal State University instead of a University of California. It is confusing but the State universities are much easier to get into than the Universities of California. They are a big enough system to have someone on staff who will be able to to interpret your GSCE's etc. I am not certain that you have to take a SAT as a foreign student. Fill out an application which you can find on their website and see what they say. Good Luck!

I suggest that you email them for advice about applying. It depends what you want to study and where you want to study and what qualifications you already have, and if you can provide these and they will be acceptable here. You may later have to have them translated, but find out first if they are ok.

If your qualifications don't count, then you could still do a year's foundation course to get into university (see below).

depends on your grades, If you are top then London School of Economics and Oxford and Cambridge are excellent as well as Warwick. If you are above average then Queen Mary or Brunel University are good,If your grades are average then City University is good, if your grades are below average then Westminster University and Kingston are ok.And if your grades are horrid then Thames Valley University and London met university is ok.

Also if the issue of discrimination bothers you, then go to a university in london as there is a mix of all cultures in all the unis in london,I would know because my uni is in london.
