Each province has its own requirements for teacher certification. In BC, the requirements are very strict. In other provinces, not so much. In the UK, it depends on which program you do to get your PGCE. How many credits worth of coursework did you complete? When you come back to Canada, you'll need to apply to the provincial teacher regulatory body. They'll evaluate your PGCE and see if you'll need to do additional coursework before being issued a provincial teaching certificate. So it all depends on the province and which coursework you take to get your PGCE.

Nevertheless, if your goal is to be a teacher in Canada, it's much easier to just get your teaching certification from a Canadian university. It will save you lots of time and money. If you'd like to teach in the UK, you can always do a teacher exchange or one of those "Teach in the UK" recruitment programs.
