However, most people end up getting jobs after college irrelevant to their major. Many employers just want you to have some kind of a college degree, and with your major, you can work in almost any field after graduation, since your marketable skills (researching info, critical thinking, good communication, good writer, etc) can be learned in almost any college major.

It depends on what you like. If you want to go into business, an Accounting major would easily give you the most job opportunities, and a good starting salary. Finance and Economics are also good majors for the business field. Engineering is also a fantastic field to go into, if you can handle the math. I would think Engineering by far would have the most job opportunities in general with the best starting salary. But whatever you choose, make sure you enjoy your major, because if you hate your major, then odds are you will hate your job.
