Stick with the halls, at least your first couple of years. Private is much more expensive, and not as friendly. You'll meet your first friends in the dorms, probably...and maybe the ones you'll later get an apartment with.

campus is still cheaper. but if u share and rent - it maybe slightly cheaper [not less than 80] but not worth the hassle. food is more readily available in campus. transport is non issue in campus

There may be a problem if the university is subsidising it at all. Also if you are not a student then you will have to pay Council Tax, while the property would be exept if all the tenantswere students - this could be very expensive for you (presumably you'd pay the whole lot), but might mean you can't stay there if the landlord makes all the tenants in each flat jointly liable for bills like electrity and tax.
