That's very interesting. And I can agree to a certain point.
Unfortunately much of the copy-written materials today seem not to carry much weight.
As a pool player, coach, instructor, etc. for 25-years, I can tell you that every league has their own set of rules they want their members to play by.
But when you have 100 different leagues one little slight difference is all that's needed to make my set of rules different than your rules and the guy's in the next city. I mean how many ways can the game of '8' ball be played? Or, any other game of pool or snooker?
The same can be said of his teaching routine.
I, and most of the instructors I collaborate with, all begin the same way, with the basic fundamentals, ie - the stance, the bridge, etc, and gradually move up the ladder, depending on how much the student knows.
So if it seems that my method is comparable to someone else's, that's just the way it happened. No one took, borrowed or stolen anyone else's method. It just happened to be the same, or close to the same.
Please don't get me wrong... I'm not knocking your complaint, I just don't see any way to bring these people around to justify your cause.
