If you have budgeted the cost of accommodation into your student loan then obviously the cost of accommodation will be included in the loan. Although if you use the loan money to cover your accommodation expenses, you will be paying for the cost of your accommodation anyway as you eventually have to pay the loan back.

Have you applied for financial aid through the FAFSA program? You could be eligible for grants that can be used to cover the cost of student accommodation and living expenses whilst studying at University, and very often depending on your financial circumstances, you could receive a FAFSA funding for each academic year until you obtain a bachelors degree.
