Frankly, I got lost in your ... err ... question. In 1972, I entered the local commuter (ie, no on-campus dorms) community college and stayed for three years (two programs) of 20-24 credit hour semesters (ie, studying my a** off). At the same time, I worked full-time (40 hrs) on campus writing computer aided instruction modules for one of the profs in another division. The rest of my costs were covered by having earned a Regents Scholarship while in high school and $20 / week from Mom for food and $1/ride from people I drove back and forth.

I guess my point is ... work hard, study hard, and stay in school as long as possible ... medicine or law if possible ... drop back to something everyone needs if these aren't your "thing" (like dental assistant or patient care maybe) ... or over to the dark side (ie, management) ha ha ... and, aside from the present conflict, the military (or the local police) is not a bad career for smart folks in good health.

AVOID party girls/boys, porn movie makers, booze, drugs, them that do, etc., etc., etc.. Want to have fun? Wait until you can have fun with walks on the beach with your wife, hauling your kids to baseball / soccor / whatever, and/or golfing/bowling buddies at work. You'll find it a whole lot more satisfying and much less likely to give you aids or herpes or worse!

As for the viability of various efforts to create / maintain absolute equality across the board for all male and female sports / other programs ... most of it is power and money plays. Good luck getting any real answers to this one.
